The Renovators, a gang of unscrupulous builders, are deposited on a storm-battered island. Their task is to make the run-down hotel habitable for a reputable team of builders to start the skilled work. They're a clean up crew with basic skills learnt during a stretch in prison. Is this a chance to go straight? A chance for them to mend their wicked ways? Like Hell! They're already arguing five minutes after their arrival. And they have no idea there's an evil that lurks in the shadows of the building, the deceased psychopath Dr Bentley. An evil that enters the Renovators dreams and pollutes their already paranoid, egotistical and violent minds. And when they discover Vanessa, an artist is living on the island with them, their passions rise and tensions provoke confrontations. After a series of accidents and strange encounters Wolfie is discovered brutally murdered and the paranoia is turned up to max. They look at themselves and any one of them could be the killer. The Renovators arm themselves with lethal power tools and turn on each other in an adrenalin pumped, lowdown and dirty bloodbath that leaves only one of their number alive at the end. But are they infected with the evil Dr Bentley as he heads back to the mainland?
